作者简介

Cheryl Anderson teaches at the Mike Bender Golf Academy in Lake Mary, Florida. She received the 2006 National Teacher of the Year award and the 2007 Metropolitan PGA Teacher of the Year award. She is one of Golf for Women magazine’s 50 Top Women Teachers in America. Cheryl also is one of the best woman club pro competitors ever. In 2004 she earned the Metropolitan PGA Section Women’s Player of the Year award for a record fifth c***ecutive season. She also was runner-up in the 2002 LPGA National Club Professional Champi***hip and has competed in numerous LPGA Tour events. A graduate of Rutgers University, Cheryl is a Class A member of both the LPGA and the PGA of America. She has authored numerous instruction articles for Golf for Women, The Met Golfer, and Golf Digest Woman.

Brian Crowell has been helping his students enjoy the game of golf since 1991. He has held the position of Head Golf Professional since 1997 and is currently employed at GlenArbor Golf Club in Bedford, New York.

In addition to his voluntee***ork for various charities and programs, Brian has served on the Education Committee of the Metropolitan PGA since 1996 and was the Chairman from 2002 through 2005. In 2003, he was awarded the prestigious Horton Smith Award for his outstanding contributi*** to education. In 2005, he was elected to the Executive Committee and currently serves as a board member of the Metropolitan Section.

Brian is a highly regarded instructor in the Metropolitan Section and beyond. He has given countless individual less*** and clinics and has authored numerous instructional articles. His work has been featured in Donald Trump’s book The Best Golf Advice I Ever Received and in The Secret of Golf by Ge***e Peper. He has also contributed to many newspapers and magazines, including recent issues of GOLF Magazine. In 2003, National C***umers Research named Brian one of America’s Best Instructors, and he is very proud to have been selected as a Top 50 Kids Teacher for 2005 by U.S. Kids Golf.

Brian has been seen in national television commercials with Craig Stadler. He is the creator, host, and producer of The Clubhouse, a golf radio show that can be heard Wednesdays from 7 to 8 pm on AM1230 WFAS. He is also a frequent instruction contributor for AM1050 ESPN. As a broadcast commentator/ ***yst, he has covered many of golf’s major champi***hips on the USA Network and NBCSports.com. He is also the host for video content on the new website GolfersMD and is a weekly columnist for the Metro NY newspaper. In addition, Brian coproduced and appeared in Get in the Game, an instructional DVD for junior golfers.

Tom Mackin has worked as an associate editor at GOLF Magazine and as a contributing editor for The World of Hibernia, Hudson County Magazine, and Zagat’s America’s Top Golf Courses. A frequent contributor on golf and travel to many national and international publicati***, he has written for Travel + Leisure GOLF, LINKS Magazine, NICKL***S Magazine, Golf World, The Met Golfer, Pebble Beach Magazine, Town & Country, the New York Times, and New Jersey Monthly. He is a native of Bayonne, New Jersey, and a graduate of Rutgers University.
